Literature Text

A/N: Due to some important subjects and a different culture (and simply because what was right centuries ago it's seen as awful in modern times), the characters' ages will be over 16.

Or at least Ludwig will not be 13 years old.

There will not be a specific age, that's up to the reader's consent.

Rating:  Master-pieces don't have ratings. (No, wait, this is a fanfic, it must have one... ok, is R-[Ludwig's age], so, yeah, you decide his age)

Warning: zhe characters art not going to speak-a like zhis, because is hard as scone to write it.

Disclaimer: I have never heard of anything like "Romeo & Juliet"... Nor Hetalia.

PROLOGUE

[Choir]

–APH Knights Templar:                                  Two households, both alike in dignity,

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,

From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,

Where silly cussing makes civil mouths unclean.

From forth the fatal loins of these two foes

A pair of star-crossed lovers share their life;

Whose misadventured piteous overthrows

Do with their disappearance bury their parents' strife.

The fearful passage of their death-marked love,

And the continuance of their parents' rage,

Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,

Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;

The which if you with patient ears attend,

What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

(The American Brothers enters, each from a side of the scenario)

–APH USA: Now let's put it simple!

–APH Canada: In a remote neighborhood in Verona, two households are rivaled.

–APH USA: The Vargas' and the Beilschmidt's.

–APH Canada: The Beilschmidt's and the Vargas'.

–APH USA: Rivalry as old as time.

–APH Knights Templar: (annoyed) H-hey! I am the choir. What are you doing here?!

–APH Canada: This play if full of Europeans.

–APH USA: And because of that, we need our time!

–APH Knights Templar: (angry) B-but you-! I-! Augh, I quit! I knew coming to Broadway was a bad idea! (Exits)

(The American Brothers look at each other)

–APH USA: Bro.

–APH Canada: Eh.

(Both nod)

–APH Canada:  Being rivals since the 900’s,

–APH USA: Or even earlier,

–APH Canada:  These two families have separated the whole neighborhood they are living in,

–APH USA: Allies and enemies, even other households have been affected.

–APH Canada:  No one else knows why, but they simply can’t stand each other.

–APH USA: From the Beilschsmidt’s, a boy was born.

 –APH Canada: His purity, well-known.

–APH USA: His name was Ludwig.

–APH Canada: Being under his brother’s care,

–APH USA: Gilbert, a monk,

–APH Canada: For his purity’s sake, Gilbert won’t allow him too much contact.

–APH USA: Baking pies, petting dogs, that was his life. Under pressure he lives.

–APH Canada: (excited) Under pressure? More like under Prussia!

–APH USA: (laughs)

–APH Canada: (giggles)

–APH USA: (takes a breath before continuing) From not-so far from his house, the Vargas’ home stands. Lovino and Feliciano, heirs of his grandfather’s wealth, live there, with Antonio, their butler, and Romeo, their half-brother.

–APH Canada: But, about the third one, no one cares. (Shakes head)

–APH USA: (nods) And now that the main characters we have explained,

–APH Canada: It’s time to our story start.

–APH USA: About a virgin dreamer

–APH Canada: And a pasta eater.

–Both: Whose forbidden love will change it all.

(American Brothers leave)

(The curtain rises)

And thus, our story begins.
(Sorry)

The acts will be larger, I promise.
